Let you go...well that depends. If I fell off of a cliff and you reached down to save me, but were slowly slipping yourself and were about to fall to your doom, I would most likely let go. So yes, I would.

Mentally...I can't think of a situation in which that would erally apply. But if it did, then I would like to think that I wouldn't be as selfish to hang on while you were in need of saving. Yeah...I don't know.
