I've just made a literal vat of hummus, which involved covering one hand in mushy chickpeas, and spraying a lot of them around the kitchen. Hm.

aaah that sounds messy yet totally amazing!! i've never bothered to make my own but have plans to start. will probably be disaster. still, chickpeas = win.
