I think you're confusing the new tv series The Walking Dead with the movie Diary of the Dead. It's okay, though. Lots of zombie media out there so it does get confusing. XD

While I wouldn't say this is a big production in Hollywood standards (Romero is not keen on the Hollywood big production thing), it is pretty amazing to see him in a zombie flick by George Romero. He is a big name in the horror industry.
