It is high time the Daily got a dose of one of my favorite S.P.D. characters, one of the ones who fascinates me above all the others... and he appeared for all of one episode.
I speak, of course, of Dru Harrington, Sky's best friend from the episode *SHAMELESS SELF PLUG* Idol, played by Dwayne Cameron who is better known to most of PR fandom as Tyzonn. I have no real idea why Dru fascinates me so much, but with pictures I will attempt to put it into words. No, I'm not looking for an excuse to cap shiny DVDs at all, why do you ask?

No, Sky, this post isn't about you, though your cuteness is evident.
So why do I love Dru? Well, there's the air of mystery about him. He appears out of nowhere, and all the information we're given on him is he left the Earth Academy 3 years ago, that he was Sky's best friend, and that Sky thought he was dead.
His unknown background, and the way he and Sky got close, makes for some great fic fodder. (Not like I've done such a thing, certainly not...)
Dru is also sassy and skilled. It's easy to guess why he and Sky got along... because they seem to be of one mind- always having to be the best, pushing oneself to greater and greater heights.
Alas, one of the perils of loving a villain, however, is the inevitable betrayal. Dru begins to act sneaky, and Sky suspects that something is up.
Dru then shows his true colors and betrays Sky and S.P.D. when he tries to assassinate Cruger, then shoots Sky.
Since the good guys always win, however, Sky is able to knock him back to size and arrest him.
The reason I like Dru the most, however, is the fact that he got such extreme emotions out of Sky- he never acts like this toward any other character.
Sky HUGS HIM. No, no subtext here...
Just two tough guys, sharing their Silver Bracelets of Friendship... no, not subtexty in the slightest...
Heterosexual Life Partners, clearly.
So heartbroken over his husband boyfriend BEST FRIEND betraying him. :(
