So I was told I should recap this episode tonight, because it is relevant to my interests. Those being the Magna Defender being dramatic and having a dramatically swishy cape. Is Lost Galaxy the season where the characters and story can be very good, but science and logic are cheerfully pelted by an avalanche of rocks?

Or am I just describing the Power Ranger franchise in general?

I love the moment with the Magna Defendor and his little boy. It was touching and really surprising that power rangers went there with a story.

Does Terra Venture having a volcano fall in the "no geographical sense" territory? Because I can't think of why you would want a volcano on a colony ship.

I don't know about the switching spirits thing, but it kinda looks like Magna Defender essentially possessed Mike's body (hence allowing the escape from the crevice). Not that that clears up the whole question of how taking out Magna Defender would save Mike. In fact, it actually muddles that up more.
