Yeah the fish are livin' it up this episode, but I liked a few things, like Lt. Stone's deadpan delivery of "In any other town yes. In Angel Grove.. not such a problem" and Tommy revealing his identity to his brother was well done,IMO.

I really want someone to make a brochure for "So you want to move to Angel Grove"

I just thought that Tommy revealing his identity was pretty pointless. All he had to say was "Nope, we already rescued your brother, don't worry about it." And really, what do they know about David other than he's a hot jerk?

I was thinking it was funny how Tommy was so surprised when Mondo didn't give David back. It's what the bad guys do everytime! LOL

One of my favorite parts was when they get a visual on David and he is just sitting back chilling in the cave. He barely looks phased.

The one funny thing was when Tommy said "I told him to wait at the youth center" isn't that were he was taken from?

Haha, I loved that bit too! And when the cave paintings started glowing, he was just hanging there like "Yeah, and?"

I know! LOL He really took it pretty well in stride. Tanya impressed me in this episode she has a great presence in the command chamber.

The bad guys never change! The Rangers should know better by now.

Okay, on Tommy...I decided to just put all my issues with Tommy here.

Tommy is interesting because the writers actually wanted to kill him early, both in Zyuranger (where Burai does die, albeit later than originally planned) and in MMPR. The fans really kept Tommy on. Of course, because this is the Zordon era, they can't really portray Tommy realistically. (Realistically, he would have all sorts of mental issues, like somebody out of Neon Genesis Evangelion or something.) Even JDF doesn't like Tommy; he actually cut his hair to get away from Tommy. But now we've seen Tommy with short hair for a whole season, so that won't be possible.

Wow, Tommy had an Eva in Zeo. I don't remember that. (Though I do remember the first time I saw episode 24 of Neon Genesis Evangelion, I said "Just like Tommy!" Jason/Tommy fans take note: Shinji and Kaoru are the closest thing to a healthy relationship in Evangelion.) But yeah, giving Tommy the telepathically-controlled mecha. Oh, Zordon. I should point out that his Abaranger counterpart is named ( ... )

There is a serious amount of racefail in the show, as much as I love it.

With Aisha, I've got the personal fanon that one side of her family are recent Kenyan immigrants, but we know that her family had to have been in Angel Grove/Stone Canyon area by the 1880s. But trying to figure out anything that has time travel in it with this show gives me a headache.

I'm actually just watching Zyuranger now, and I don't believe that QR has seen it yet either. And wow, it's been a looooooooong time since I saw Evangelion.

Heart is an Awesome Power vs What Kind of Lame Power is Heart Anyway? Will the battle never end.
