Episode 165 - Graduation Blues

Dec 11, 2010 11:13

By luck of the draw, I'm writing the recap this time. Which is good, because if Queenriley was writing it, she's admitted that the recap would go something like this ( Read more... )

angel grove lacks quality education, science doesn't work like that, slave rito and goldar, 4 fish, centered on: billy, season 4: the adam/tanya show, party at the youth center, billy's alien fetish, power weapons, junior police patrol

<3 Billy! But I wasn't a fan of how the rangers treated him in Zeo. It was almost like he was just there to help them and less like their friend.

Cestro so right,The rangers of both worlds are lucky to have him!

Skull is so cute, Jason Narvy has such great comedic timing.

This wasn't a fantastic episode because Billy left! But it was about Billy so yeah on that :)

Yeah how are they only juniors? Unless Billy meant he still had a year left because it was early in their senior year? I fully agree that S3 was junior year and Zeo was senior year.

If it was early in their senior year, that would make a lot of sense. Still.

Oh Billy... *hugs him* He really got the short end of the stick this season, both the character and David alike. It becomes that much more bittersweet when you know what was going on behind the scenes.

But I totally agree with you on how his running off to Aquitar here is completely in-character. He wants to see space and other worlds, and he owes it to them for helping out the Rangers. So at least in all the other fail of this episode, they got something right?

It's the behind the scenes stuff that is really making me rage. We started the fish scale before all that came out, but that just makes it WORSE.

His going makes perfect sense. His staying later... no.

Anyway, Skull kidnaps Billy at his party

Umm.. care to expand on that? Sounds... interesting. (-:

Oh, Billy, don't be a hero!

Hee. Sorry, we were so busy ranting that I must have left that section out - Cestro asked Bulk and Skull to find Billy, so they grabbed him from the party. It was pretty adorkable.

Billy needs so many hugs!

I suppose it does make sense in this episode that Billy would go to Aquitar from his character's POV. Although the chemistry book Billy dropped at the site of departure leaves me scratching my head. He would definitely have noticed dropping a book that thick and heavy, unless he did it on purpose.

I think the book dropping was their attempt at symbolism or something. I'm not really sure.
