Noooo, not the character development! :(

*sigh* This show is just so ridiculous even at the best of times and full of WTFness.

*still laughing at Zack's new zord*

Worry not! Any character development we get this season is completely destroyed in the massive fail that is season 3. ;)

So apparently the monster got smart for once and went after civilians.

The series really needs more open fire on schoolchildren >:D

Meanwhile, Billy discovers he put the battery in upside down. Again.

WTFreally?! Can I take a page out of your book and do a quick *headdesk*? Did Billy write a "what's wrong with me?" paper on this?

Jason is pretty and reassures Tommy that they'll always be friends.

Still hinting at a GTFO apparently...

Can I ask how the race is still going on while massive destruction is befalling Angel Grove? Is everyone like, "Oh, another monster, whatever," by now?

I'm not exactly endorsing wanton violence here, but honestly... you'd think somebody, anybody, would have figured out by now the best way to beat the rangers isn't to actually physically beat them, but to terrorize the civilian population first.

I would assume so? But I'm really not sure. I mean, the rangers paced the Command Center for a good bit of time and they still managed to just catch up to the rest of the racers by the end. It was either a really long race or it was full of fish. I'm leaning towards fish personally.

They probably got lost along the way. I'd venture a bet that half of them didn't make it to the finish. In a city where you can go from desert to beach to industrial park to residential to forest to mountain and back to desert in about a half-hour's time... probably pretty confusing to get around.

I can't wait for Emo!Ranger Adam. He helped to soften the blow of losing the Goldar/Jason love story. Seriously.

I'm surprised no one got covered in food. It is, after all, a new season.

I'll bet Zedd is regretting his hasty actions regarding Rita now that he knows how difficult it actually is to defeat the Rangers.

Can we start a countdown to the Bulk and Skull character development?

Adam makes everything better. So much better. Yes.

That's probably the reason why he does take her back. She actually did the best against them, if you think about it.

Billy discovers he put the battery in upside down. Again.

You'd think someone that smart would know how to put in batteries properly. Even my 8 year old self went "wtf is wrong with you," except obviously with less profanity.

The WTFery of the whole zord thing went over my head back then, but I was more upset about there being new zords because I liked the original ones.

Then everybody laughs at Bulk and Skull who are still trapped on out of control four wheelers.

I totally didn't notice how much of bullies the rangers were until you guys pointed it out. Of course it took me several watches to actually even care about Bulk & Skull, so...

Definitely not one of the things I noticed when I was a kid. It was only in recent years that I've been all O.o
