¤waves¤ hi, i don't know you, but i got the fabulous idea to check lj for people studying at the victoria university in wellington, because i plan to go there in the not-too-distant future (possibly 2007/2008). as i happen to be from the other side of the planet (norway), i'm a bit nervous about whether i've picked the right university or not. i don't know exactly what i expect you to be able to share with me, but it'd be cool to hear how you feel about the uni, being a student in wellington & such things. thanks anyhow :)

I love Wellington and it's a great place to study. What I like about it is that it's small enough to walk everywhere, but there's still a lot to do and see. It's fun.

I don't have any strong feelings one way or the other about Vic Uni. I think whether it's the right one to go to or not depends on what you're studying - with a lot of subjects like design or science there are better universities to go to. It's fine for humanities and law and commerce, though.

yeah, wellington looks really nice. i'm not much of a city person, so i like that it's small.
i'm thinking about studying film and/or english literature. what do you study?

I study English literature (yeah!) and religious studies. English at Vic is pretty good.

I'm out in Pram this week with my brothers, but I'll be back in town next week (though things could be a bit crazy as I've got about nine hundred out-of-towners crashing at my place during Uni Games). If you're out here at all we could do something, otherwise we can wait till next week.
