"The solution is obviously to just hose him off next time." SHe said from the doorway, amusement evident.

"Hello Mel," She settled onto the couch with her plate.

"Oh is that how it's going to be?" he asked with a short laugh. He pushed up to put the movie in and hit play before sitting back again. "Maybe I should rethink."

"Jealous?"

"Of Mel Gibson?" he lifted an eyebrow at her, an expression that said it all.

"Good," she leaned over and kissed his cheek. "He's got nothing on you."

He accepted the kiss happily, wondering vaguely when he'd becoming so content with such a domestic experience. It didn't even have to do much with Lilah, although she was certainly incentive to spend as much time in his room as possible, but he wasn't restless like he would be back in Trenton. The movie started to play and he thought back to the month he'd spent at home and how he'd slipped right back into his old life.

If he brought someone back to Trenton with him, would he do the same thing?

"Here's the problem," he said, gesturing to his fork to where Riggs was recklessly kicking the ass of four unsavory youths, "Without actually shooting those kids in the head, you'd never get out of these."

She chuckled, grinning.

"Good to know, though it's a movie - not reality."

[range_wizard]

"It's some people's reality," he reminded her. His, sometimes, although he did try to avoid it. "How's the curry?"

"It's good, just enough spice." She glanced at him briefly.

"And the scenario might be some peoples reality, but the way it all goes down is movie reality not real life reality."

"This is true, which is what I was commenting on." He chuckled a little, "and for the record, I've never set myself under a bridge at night with a bunch of punks just to pick a fight." He paused, "but that's mostly because I'm not a cop."

"You think your friend Morelli has done it?" She smirked.

"No, probably not." He laughed, more at her calling him "your friend."
