I don't mean to sound all condescending... But I have a weird thing about people who get tattoos or who become soo involved in a culture that isn't their own.. Yes, I know that I have a rich culture being asian and all... and that being white makes it harder to identify with a culture.. But still.. It is weird.. I'm watching Miami Ink on TLC and

i totally understand what you mean. i'm the same way with irish stuff...i mean i'm not as closely linked to being irish as you are to being chinese, but my grandmother made damn sure to make me proud of my heritage and i've always thought that if you're going to get a tattoo of something, like say a celtic knot, you should at least know what the symbol represents first. i'm sure a bunch of the people who have character tats have no idea what the character actually stands for.

oh by the by, i decided to have a birthday party...it's gonna be on the 17th (my birthday) which is the saturday after this...and i don't know times or anything yet, but you and rob are invited. because i love you both.

hey..its ok that you didn't make it...I missed you though!!! I would never think of getting any tattoo in a different language....I mean if you don't speak the language...how the hell do you know what you want to say is really gonna end up on your body?? I mean if I wanted something corny like love...and they decided to put the symbol for whore or something...lol...now that would be freaking funny...also never get names either...that is just stupid....take it from Johnny Depp who ended up with "Wino forever"
