After the Heat

Huge cheers for the end of chemo! And indeed for your continued plans to visit Europe next year, and all your writing projects.

There's so much I want to write to you about, and when I do I'll explain the latest time lag - but for now at least I can take the lazy route to saying hello by a quick comment here.

Hope the treatment goes out like a lamb...

Even better! All these years we've been teasing my niece because we thought it was cute that when she was a little girl she thought it was a happy song about how the people had a fondness for sheep. None of us thought to question whether she had heard the line correctly. Not that it makes much difference; it just makes the line more poetic and inclusive.

Anyway, we weren't as smartypants as we thought we were.

I'm thinking of coming over for Follycon, but I have no idea if that makes any sense or not. Will you be going to that?

I hope you do pull together your FB and LJ posts. You've done some VERY fine writing about all of this.

Wow, Pat! So happy to see you here! Sounds as though you've been through a health ordeal of your own, although I still don't know the details. Hope you're on the heal, and I look forward to seeing you next year.
