Well, there was one last party at Andy and Carrie's last night, but I think it's finally dead for me.

When we got home Sunday night, there was a mysterious message from the hotel on our answering machine, asking us to call them. At length the staff there compared notes and realized the original question had been whether or not we had gotten our own bags, or had accidentally been handed and walked off with two other bags by the bellman. I assured them we had recognized our own bags, and wondered just what had happened. Now we know another third of the story!

Bryan said he was going to call them, so I hope it's all been worked out by now.

It all sounds rather terrific. If only I could be everywhere at once. I particularly love the idea of an elaborate performance piece in Old Norse with live translation.

It was quite a saga.

Thanks for this, Kim. I haven't watched any of it, but I heard that the quality of the stream this year was higher than normal. I think Bill mostly used his iPhone.

It was really excellent fun. Andy and i only got to hear the 1st panel of saturday afternoon, and even tho' we naturally were incapable of understanding 90% of the anecdotes, we still laughed our asses of because it felt so much like sitting around a family reunion listening to the same old hilarious stories and some new ones no one had ever told before.

The mimeo was a little enthralling! I kept debating if i had enough time to call my Mimeo Friend, Dan, who lives in Portland and was quite impressed with the Rex Rotary mimeo and e-stenciller i got from Jerry and Suzle the other year.

On Sunday, as we listened to the intense buzz of conversation around us, Lynn Steffan wondered what everybody still had to say that they hadn't already said. My theory was that they were repeating themselves.

"Have I ever told you the one about ... "

"Yes, I could tell you that one myself now!"
