I'm glad I brought it to your attention. I remain of the opinion that this book should have been published many years earlier when it would have stood Russ up alongside Damon Knight and James-Blish-as-William-Atheling as a colossus of SF criticism, but better late than never.

Yeah, it probably would have had more of an impact if it had come out in the early '80s.
