Maybe St. Veronica is a Catholic thing -- I recall her from my childhood education.

Yeah, "St. Veronica" was supposed to be an unnamed matron along the Stations of The Cross, who acquired the name from "vera icon" (true image), and though the relic is still preserved at St. Peter's the Church apparently hasn't stood firmly behind its authenticity for several centuries.

For another pun, though, I do like "Ocean Waif".

Don, I had never caught that pun before. That really is lovely. One of the actualities in this set is a minute or so of waves crashing on rocks.
