Fans can't mate

Who was it that used to say that fans can't dance? Now a joint study by computer scientists at the University of Washington and anthropologists at Rutgers argues that people may pick reproductive partners based on dancing ability. Score one for the genetic determinists.

I like that they went to Southfield, Jamaica for the study.

Yeah, I want to study social patterns of wealthy American expatriates. In Belize, yeah, that's it, Belize.

I'll take the photos, you can sample the beer. Deal? ;>

Are you implying that the researchers were sampling the ganja?

I'd like to see how this study handles Mennonites, who consider dancing sinful and thus forbid it. Although perhaps the study was done by Mennonites, since they, too, believe that dancing leads inexorably to sex.

No, probably not sampling the ganja.

But, pick a place to study social dancing:

Fargo, North Dakota

Southfield, Jamaica.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm, think think.
