Y'know what's funny? My mom cleaned the fur off of the pillow he used to sleep on the other day. But today, when she was feeling pretty down and missing him, she looked over at his pillow and it was completely covered in his fur.

I don't think they ever really leave.

cat fur is pretty notorious like that, never really going away once it's stuck to something. so are the animals they belong to.
