Awwww.... have a little patience and sympathy for them,ok? They are frail and vulnerable, and they know it. You are (presumably) a healthy young person who in even non-maliciousness could knock them over with next to no effort, just in carelessness. It's not really about you at all. It's about them, and how scared they are of getting a broken bone that won't heal right, etc.
