Another double dare. Dare 29 over on the
maxis-taste community was to makeover a sim through each life stage, while dare 30 is weddings. I'd wanted to do dare 29 during the month, but exams got in the way. Then when dare 30 popped up, I realised I could combine the two.
Mary-Sue's birth parents are unknown. Placed into a drab and miserable orphanage, she was lucky enough to be adopted as a toddler by Coral and Herb Oldie.
Her childhood was warm and loving.
The teen years were, ah, shall we say, a little more challenging.
And then came the happiest day of her life - her wedding day.
It was a beautiful ceremony.
The bride and groom posed for photos.
Then the bride and bridesmaid.
The bride's family.
The groom's family.
And they both lived happily ever after.
---
OK, so I lied. Daniel and Mary-Sue were happy to find out they were expecting, but they weren't ready for twins. Things rapidly spiralled into chaos.
Daniel claimed he was just working hard. Mary-Sue was pretty sure he was working something hard.
Then came the day when everything changed.
---
Of course, what happened next differs from player to player. In one neighbourhood of mine, Mary-Sue did indeed lose her job and come home to find Daniel screwing the maid. In the uberhood, Kaylynn just never showed up and the couple started putting more work into their marriage. Maybe they really will work through their problems and live happily ever after. But then again, maybe they won't.
But enough of that depressing contemplation, have some out-takes!
The first wedding attempt didn't quite go according to plan. Whoopsie!
Bride and groom playing around.
Followed by the bride and bridesmaid goofing around.
Some townies spoiling the mood in the background.
And then the Unsavoury Charlatan came and photobombed the group shot. Mary-Sue was deeply unimpressed.
