Dodger just...stares. The walk had been hair-raising enough and now...this.
He's used to London being busy, but not in the state of guns going off and things on fire. He looks around him, a hand on his hat to make sure it stays there.
But after a minute, it's not so bad. He's come here to steal. That's something he can do.
He's never heard a monkey either, but that's OK. He'll find him later. Right now, the opportunities to steal are just too good to resist and he doesn't want Martin in his way.
He looks up once, then darts off into the crowd. He's already got his eyes on a few likely looking candidates.

The pockets are full of things. Coins, for the most part, because nobody could trust paper money in a place like this.
Martin, for his part, sets up in a vacant stall and starts haggling over certain bottles that he's got plenty of.
