Evidently this is an isolated instance and this individual lifted the entire chapter, verbatum. They arn't even attempting to change anything--they just reposted the chapter under their name, acting as if they wrote it.
So far, I haven't seen anything else posted in this very icky gamers board (jesus, they're crude!) so I think I will just watch it to see if it continues. Only one person responded to that post, too, and it was to say, "I can't see your post."
Hopefully it's just a one time instance.
Stop_Plagiarism is an interesting site; I noticed almost immediately that nearly 100% of the plagiarism is happening on ff.net from one person to the next. ????
Yet another reason I don't post there, nor do I read any fics there.

That just sucks, Random. I'm so sorry! I'm taking a break from writing a horribly bad fic where typing every word is like pulling teeth, and am especially outraged for you. No one would ever want to take credit for my work, but I know (as much as anyone beside you really can) how much you put into your fic... every word, every paragraph, every page. I hope you know how much the rest of us appreciate it.

That thunk you heard was me passing out after reading the line about taking the archive away... I'm so glad you're not doing that. I think I would die. I live in there (and under the sink.) If there's anything I can do let me know!
