Dread 'verse. Wheeljack's box canyon. Snow!.

"MY SNOW! Oomph!"

Showtime blinked, and then laughed so hard that she wobbled at sight of the miniature Tyrannosaur buried face-first in the pile of snow that she'd just been reaching toward. "Grimlock! There's enough for everybody... ack! Desinex, you...!"

Her friend cackled and launched another ball of compacted snow, leaving Showtime with a white splat on her face to match the one on the back of her head.

"That's it!" Showtime went after her with a yell, only to skitter sideways with startlement as Eclipse screeched to one side of her. "Whoa!"

"WakeJumper! You threw me in the snowdrift!" his word-mate hauled her small orange self out, but then squeaked and fell back laughing as two small forms barreled into her. "Lumen! Swoop!"

"MY SNOW!" roared Grimlock, then squeaked and went flat as WakeJumper squashed him gently. "Ack! Me Grimlock king!"

"Watch it, he'll bite." Keepsake laughed from where she was sitting on Sludge's back as the Apatosaur wonderingly watched Showtime and Desinex chase each other between his legs and under his belly.

"Yeeouch!" WakeJumper flailed automatically, which sent the Tyrannosaur now attached to his hand flying.

"Ooomph!" Showtime met him head on. "Ack!"

"Me Grimlock king!" The little dino stood up and roared, but then paused and looked at the femme he was standing on. "She Showtime pretty. Me Grimlock hurt she Showtime?"

"I'm okay." She cautiously put an arm around him as she sat up, then narrowed her optics at Desinex, who was laughing like a loon. "Here, hold onto my back."

"Me Grimlock hold on." The little guy shifted to his robot mode and put his arms around her neck, his chin on her shoulder as he watched her grab two handfuls of the rare desert snow and send both of them right into her friend's mouth.

"Gack! P'tooi!" Desinex's laughter cut off. "You fragging glitch!"

"Bad word!" cried Swoop gleefully from where she and Lumen were trying to bury Eclipse in snow. "She Desi say baaad word!"

"Eeeeeee!" Showtime fled toward Sludge's tail, Grimlock still hanging onto her back, then yelped as Keepsake lost her grip and slid down said tail just in time to knock she and her passenger flying. "AHHHH!"

"Doggypile!" Swoop shot into the air and flopped down on the heap.

"Dogpile!" said WakeJumper gleefully, though he added himself to it much more carefully.

"Hey! Wait for us!" Eclipse grabbed her sparklet and bounded to her feet. "Banzai!"

There was a moment as a startle silence hung over the previously noisy box canyon. And then a gruff little voice came from the pile.

"Me Grimlock squished!"

"Ow...." muttered Showtime around Desinex's eruption of cackles.

"Aw, me Grimlock kiss better."

"Ack!"

"Hahaha! Show's got a boyfriend."

"Kiss you Desinex better too."

"Ack! Hey!"

"Hey! Stop kissing all the femmes!" WakeJumper sat up and stuck his hand into the heap. "Come here, you little... OWWW!"

"Hey! Don't bite my daddy!" Lumen bounded toward where Grimlock had landed and jumped on him with both feet.

"Oh no!" Eclipse leaped to her feet, doorwings straight up.

"Quick, bury them in snow!" Keepsake dumped an armload on the scrapping sparklets.

"Bury in snow!" repeated Sludge happily, dropping a mouthful on top of Keepsake.

"Ack!"

"MY SNOW!"

"Grimlock, you're weird." Lumen laughed, totally unfazed by his situation.

"Me Grimlock am king."

"M...m... my joints are icing up." Showtime chattered and shivered, then squeaked as WakeJumper put a gentle arm around her.

"Wimp, it's only a little cold," snerked Desinex, but then yelped as Swoop dropped a flurry of loose stuff on her that trickled between her armor plates. "COLD!"

Keepsake looked around at the trashed looking wasteland that was all that was left of the pristine snowfall that she'd wakened to, then grinned at her guests and siblings, her earlights a happy pink. "Anybody up for warm bio-diesel? Wheeljack's probably awake by now, and maybe he'll tell a story."

There was a universal cheer of approval to the plan, even from Grimlock where he was snuggled against Showtime.

"Great, let's go."
