I've been paying attention (less than I should be because of school, etc., but I caught up a bit last night) and I question what the US can do. History has placed Obama in a tight spot here. It's extremely fucked-up and extremely frustrating to hear, especially the stuff coming out of Libya. And I guess more than a condemnation is in order. But what does that consist of?
i have to admit i'm a bit ignorant about libya at the moment as the earthquake in new zealand is capturing my attention. i really like your skins related posts on tumblr. i can't say i'm as devoted to rich/grace as you are but the next few episodes will probably change my mind.
I love them together. They're so random, but perfect.
The middle east :-( I really think the US is handling this wrong. I don't expect them to go over there and "help" anyone (that would be disastrous), but to just sit around saying "be nice to the protesters" and not openly condemning what's happening? And then to PRAISE Bahrain for opening a dialogue and allowing peaceful protests? Uh, what? How are they allowing peaceful protests if they're shooting people!?
