SO I HAVE A QUESTION: Does anyone know if people at places like ( Read more... )

Umm, I'm not sure but my glasses are from Hakim and I think they mend broken frames. Or at least I saw a pair of broken frames sitting on the counter there when I went to get mine straightened after an unfortunate mosh pit accident. I assume that they were waiting to be mended also.

If not you could tape them together and start a fashion trend!

What sort of material are your frames mad out of?

I would just tape them permanently if 1) the snap was right in half...which it's not. It's pretty awkward and a little more to the side/around my right lense actually. I may have pictures if I can't fix it (WHICH I HOPE I CAN!!!) and 2) if it wouldn't look like I'm trying too hard >_>

They're the same sort of hard plastic-y stuff I think. They tend to bend easily.

They only thing I can think of that they would do to fix a broken frame is heat up the plastic and fuse it back together. Don't know how well that would work...

Yeah, I could see how it would be a little awkward. I remember when my sister was little she broke her glasses right in the middle and just taped them and went about her day, lol.

If they weren't actually broken then it would definietly fall into trying too hardness, but you know, when you actually really have to tape them then no one can fault you!

you should be able to call a local place and ask them if they can repair frames that are plastic like, they should be able to give you an answer or tell you where to go.

good luck! ♥
