OOTP PREMIERE UPDATE!

Jul 08, 2007 20:48

OMFG TODAY WAS SO FUN/EXHAUSTING AND IT DOESN'T FEEL LIKE A SUNDAY AT ALL!

This post is dedicated COMPLETELY to the premiere today and I spent forever on it in my condition so pay attention (I mean, this thing is 1,746 words long)! Includes a couple pictures I stole from ONTD but I will post the photos I took ASAP!

I got to Hollywood at about 6:56 or so and found theheartless69 in a long line around the corner across from the Roosevelt Hotel. I met a few interesting people in line, laughed, talked about fandom crap IRL without feeling like I was around people who thought I was being stupid, and...watched a woman in a Minnie Mouse costume bump into a poll. THERE WAS ALSO A GUY WHO DRESSED UP AS DUMBLEDORE WHO LET US TAKE PICTURES WITH HIM FOR A TIP (A DOLLAR)! :D And yes, I took one with him, as did a lot of other people. Smart guy. Oh, and there were these two funny security guards: one black guy who kept joking with us on his megaphone and this Asian guy who kept changing and ended up looking like he was late for a rave.

ANYWAY, after nearly 4 or 5 hours of sitting and waiting around, we finally started moving a bit in the line (aka, everyone scrambled to pick up blankets, food, books, etc). Tons of people driving along were so curious about why the streets were blocked off/why there were so many (mostly fangirls) people waiting around wearing HP-ish stuff. We were a little ahead of the halfway mark in line but, with great luck and a happy face stamp, ended up in the first row of the barricades.

Lots of random news reporters talked to us/forced us to scream (including some Australian broadcast and some buy from MTV and VH1 [etc etc etc]. Melissa and what's his face (and maybe Sue) from The Leaky Cauldron were there too as well as a bunch of tourists. There were people all over.

Oh, and guess who else was there.

None other than Mugglenet's little, arrogant, and slightly SLIGHTLY attractive Emerson Spartz. *Shudder* He threw/handed out Mugglenet stickers to us (yeah, I took one :\) and was so happy about the fangirls screaming is name. He even made us scream "We Love Mugglenet" (*CRINGE* YEAH, I KNOW) and a few other things that made me go "for fuck's SAKE!". But, with much loyalty, I did scream "I STILL SHIP HARRY AND HERMIONE!" a few times. I wonder if he heard me...

I AM sort of disappointed that we were sort of far away (not THAT far but...far enough) and the fact that the crew people couldn't find a red tape that matched the color of the red carpet but otherwise the setup was great. A few highlights of the crew/interviewers: the Australian reporter totally and a stylish tween son who we kept going, "Who the hell is that?" at and who we tried calling over a bunch of times (yeah, creepy, but he was funny and had super cool shades). Oh, and there was a crew worker who had sweat stains shaped like a happy face. Also, every time HP music would come on the loud speakers we'd all freak out ans scream...but then it turned to obnoxious pseudo smooth jazz. Thank goodness it was HP music for the red carpet time though.

The bodyguards/people who maintained the crowd were absolutely ruthless though. One bastard didn't even pick up my water bottle top when I asked him too so nicely (I dropped it past the barricade) and said, "No, ask a friend of yours to do it." Apparently he didn't realize that WE COULD HARDLY MOVE. What a bastard. But I did make some friends in line after that incident (including a Venezuelan woman who was hilarious and her friend). There were also these annoying French girls near us who kept elbowing everyone and despite people telling the security about it, nothing changed and I didn't care enough.

SO AFTER, LITERALLY, STADING ABOUT 4 HOURS ON HOLLYWOOD BLVD IN THE BLAZING SUN AND BREEZE, THE FIRST REAL FAMOUS PERSON DOWN THE RED CARPET: RUPERT! :D

I seriously started shaking and screaming as he ran down past the people in the bleachers and came SO incredibly close to us. Best part: he had a shirt with Dan's face on it XD Oh, Rupert. You will always be my favorite. Unfortunately, his "people" forced him away from us before he got further down the line.

But we DID continue screaming his name the rest of the time, and yelled to his brother (who pretty much has the same exactly build and stance as Rupert), "Where's your brother?!" as Rupert disappeared into the flashes of lighs and reporters. A few girls even asked for HIS autograph. He just sort of smiled embarrassingly.

Oh, and guess who I got an autograph from!

This pretty lady!

Thus, of course, the next famous person after a bunch of antsy standing around and becoming annoyed at the non-famous people clogging up the red carpet was EMMA who ran away from her limo and to the crowd. She pretty much signed just about everything thrown at her and she looked gorgeous. Absolutely stunning. Photos don't do her justice.

SO YEAH, SHE GOT TO ME AND FUCKING SIGNED MY TEEN VOGUE! :DDDDDDDDD

I yelled, "YOU LOOK BEAUTIFUL, EMMA! :3" and she just smiled. I officially can't hate her.

Then after waiting FOREVER with false screaming alarms from different parts of the crowd, people thinking they saw Dan (and apparently Gary Oldman too but I don't think he was there), a girl yelled and she was POSITIVE, she saw...

YES. HIM.

I immidiately screamed "ROBERT IS THAT YOU? ROBERT! ROBERT! ROBERT!?" I'm still not sure if it was him but it REALLY looked like it. I may never know (nah, I probably will but for now it is a ~*~mystery~*~). I'd like to think that it WAS him and that he just didn't go to us to sign stuff because he didn't think he was lurved. But he was! Oh, Robert you loveable crackhead. ILU ♥

Then, guess who, after finally making it to the red carpet after the heels of my feet were absolutely BURNING (BURNING!) and pretty much at the end of the red carpet show: Daniel fucking Radcliffe. We screamed out heads off when we saw glimpses of him (it was sort of hard since a big black umbrella was blocking him for a good amount of time and due to the shortness) and cheered, "WE WANT DANIEL! WE WANT DANIEL!" (I added, "AND RUPERT!" at the end ;D) and I yelled many times, "I'VE BEEN HERE SINCE 6:00 IN THE MORNING. DON'T LET ME DOWN, DAN RAD!". Nevertheless...

Bitch didn't leave the red carpet.

YEAH, I FUCKING KNOW. His other two co-stars did but HE didn't. Maybe it was because he was late but I dunno. Then again, he would probably be trampled (people were yelling and shouting about bruised ribs enough already and I kept accidentally pulling on this girl's hair which was waaaay too long. This same girl also never read the books and was like, "Who is Luna? so I didn't feel TOO bad about that). But we never gave up screaming his name and I DID get a few shots of him (as well as the others). After lots of people gave up after they were all thought to have gone in, they DID come back out for a few minutes (only for photo ops :( ) and then, finally, went back in for good.

A lot of people were upset that he didn't at least come forward to greet us but, like me, many are coming back tomorrow for the hand/foot/wand ceremony in front of the same theatre that the premiere was at.

*Pants and nurses hands* And just for kicks and lulz:

NOTICE THE AWESOME SHIRT RUPERT IS WEARING PLZ.

It was an absolute madhouse leaving the scene and I tried to get those jumbo posters they had framed around the red carpet but was unsuccessful (despite, once again, mentioning that I've been there all freaking day!). I did hope that the other stars were there but I HONESTLY have nothing to complain about because despite the pain of my feet and the disorganization of the crowd, I got Emma's autograph and, as theheartless69 said, had some 2 foot action between Rupert fucking Grint and myself. NNNNNGH, HE IS SO FUCKING CUTE. Apparently other celebs people were there too but I didn't really notice them too well besides some people in Heros (HIRO WAS THERE LOOKING CUTE :3).

Oh, but I DID lose my little black button up sweater when I went to rest for a bit (I think I left it on the bench) and felt AWFUL and snapped at my parents quite a bit. Luckily, for some reason, I took the pin off the sweater earlier that day so I didn't loose the pin along with it. My mom put it this way: a homeless person has something warm to use tonight. She's probably right unless it was some ass who felt like stealing my stuff >:( Luckily, she's buying me another one.

ANYWAY, yes, this was such a fun, once in a lifetime opportunity and I don't regret a second of it. I'LL SEE THEM AGAIN TOMORROW TOO SO YAY! :D

But now, I am starving (I only ate a tiny banana, a bit of trail mix, a couple bites of a Starbucks croissent which tasted like ham [ D: ], and water), sweaty, probably without a fabulous smell, and exhausted from the ~*~star power~*~ and screaming. So, yeah, I'm going to eat, read, watch some stuff on TV and call it quits. I'll check my flist properly tomorrow.

THANKS FOR READING THROUGH ALL THIS, BBS!
