Heir's Meeting.
Yin and Yang. Black and White. Man and Woman. Heaven and Earth. Water and Fire. Opposites that seem to fit, seem to complement each other, seem to fit the puzzle. Yin represents negative or feminine and Yang is positive or masculine. Heaven and Earth are opposites like above and below. Water and Fire see each other as enemies but they also need each other for survival.
Earth as we know it is a complex structure that is composed of continents, countries, clans. Different clans have different beliefs. There are the Earth Warriors, the Wind Summoners, the Fire Sorcerers, and the Water Wielders. The Earth Warriors are peace-keepers, Wind Summoners are neutral forces and Fire Sorcerers and Water Wielders are always at war. Every war ends, people say, the Earth Warriors cannot do anything about the war anymore because Fire and Water has been sworn enemies for years, centuries, millenniums.
The Elders, a council that all leaders from these clans go to for oracles. Oracles are forms of predictions, vision that will come automatically or calling forth a prediction to come by giving a sacrifice. Oracles were able to keep at least an ounce of peace in Earth. Unknown to them, there’s a long-standing oracle, one that has been kept by the Elders. It’s kept hidden, until the one from the Fire Sorcerers and one from the Water Wielders meet.
The council’s head is Johnny Kitagawa. He is a very respected person, the most respected out of the previous heads. He has sovereignty over Earth although he would like everyone to think that they are leaders. He can be manipulative but he is overall, nice.
---------------------------------------
The Earth Warriors has Domoto Tsuyoshi as their leader. Tsuyoshi is one strong leader. He has strong beliefs and he sticks to it. This is one of the reasons he was able to keep peace in Earth. Everyone respects him, even people from other clans. His mate, Domoto Koichi, even though they share the same name, is not his relative. They met by accident when Tsuyoshi was on his way to see the Elders. Koichi was outside the Earth Warrior’s border, almost dead. Tsuyoshi learned that Koichi is from the Wind Summoners’ tribe and when they finalized their mating, the two tribes united.
Their child, Tomohisa, is gifted. Because his parents are from different clans, he inherited both abilities. He can control the Earth, make plants grow, and he is an animal pheromone. He can also control the wind, make it windy, or summon a breeze. Tomohisa’s mate is Koyama Keiichiro and he is a commoner. His parents are not the biggest fans of fixed marriages because they only want their son’s happiness. Keiichiro is perfect for Tomohisa. He is able to bring out the best from the heir. Keiichiro may be a commoner but he is also smart, caring, and loving. He is immediately favoured by both clans.
---------------------------------------
The Wind Summoners are led by Ohno Satoshi. Satoshi may be aloof and indifferent at times but he is very peaceful and forgiving. He is seen as a leader merely because of age. He is the eldest of three brothers so he became heir by default. His mate, Ninomiya Kazunari is the complete opposite of Satoshi. While Satoshi may be quiet, Kazunari is noisy, frank and completely perfect for the heir. They complement each other, they say, that’s why they stayed together and in love for a long time.
Their only son, and heir by default, Takahisa, is just as charming, if not more, than his parents. He is the mix of his parents, indifferent and aloof when needed but noisy and frank with friends. His chosen mate, Tegoshi Yuya is completely unexpected. The townspeople assumed that Takahisa will choose someone elegant. Yuya is anything but elegant. Yes, he is very pretty but he is also selfishly self-centered so everyone couldn’t believe it when Takahisa announced his marriage with Yuya.
---------------------------------------
Takizawa Hideaki is the ruler of the Fire Sorcerers. He is very powerful and hot-headed. He does not tolerate incompetencies and trains his soldiers to the brink. His mate, one Imai Tsubasa, managed to tame him, even by just a bit. Tsubasa was able to tame Hideaki’s forceful attitude towards their townspeople. Tsubasa is a peaceful and patient man and he is just who Hideaki needed to accomplish the Fire Sorcerers completely.
Their son, Ryo however, completely took after Hideaki. He is hot-headed and impatient. He is known to have a poison tongue and ever since he started training the soldiers, he did not hesitate to use harsh words. He has an extreme hatred to the Water Summoners because not only are they incompetent to him, they are also weak. He believed that strength is key and the opposite clan only trains their minds.
---------------------------------------
The last clan, the clan believed to be the weakest is led by Sakurai Sho. Sho is an intellectual and so are their townspeople. They believe that if the mind is trained enough, a person will be able to summon not only the water element but all elements in existence. His chosen mate, Matsumoto Jun, is hot-headed and impatient. He wanted perfect people around him and he worked hard to achieve that. So because of Jun’s perseverance, the Water Wielders are also known as beautiful people.
Their only son, Kato Shigeaki, is what everyone hoped for. He is beautiful since birth, thirsty for knowledge and power. He started harnessing his skills at the age of 4 and this only made his parents proud. They always knew Shige is gifted but this belief was clouded by the child’s insecurities. Shige grew up jealous of his playmates. He is the only heir and his parents became overprotective of him. Never had any other heir ever saw him. Stories about other clans’ heirs playing together reached his ears and he only became jealous.
---------------------------------------
It was a fine and peaceful day on Earth. At least as fine and as peaceful as it can ever be. Fine and peaceful means red skies, occasional shots resounding in the air and a few dead soldiers. This is a normal happening on Earth and not many people are bothered. The fight between the Fire Sorcerers and the Water Wielders has been going on for centuries that even the Elders didn’t know what a real peaceful Earth is.
This day, the Fire Sorcerer’s heir is again by the gates of the Water Wielder’s castle, asking, or more like demanding their own heir to get out and face him. Of course, said heir would not come out because he was just not used to it. Having overprotective parents is one thing, being a coward and being insecure is another. Shigeaki never really got the courage to face the Fire’s heir. He heard rumours that he is scary, impatients, a poison tongue so he would rather sit inside his room, reading a book. Besides, to deal with the poison tongued-heir is considered a lack of class in their family. The heir is noisy, impatient and just plain annoying. He craves for attention and to actually give him attention with only make things worse.
To tell everyone the truth, the Fire’s heir or anybody else in that matter ever saw what the Water Wielder’s heir looks like save for very close members of the clan’s parliament. Shigeaki’s parents never really let their son go out and the heir never seemed to mind. He is perfectly happy in his room, thank you very much. So when Ryo camped out of the Water’s palace, shouting useless things to make the Shigeaki come out came as a surprise for the young heir. No one really ever paid too much attention to him. Their palace’s servants think he’s another servant because as said, only close members of parliament knows what he looks like. Other people also think that Water’s royal couple don’t really have an heir and he was just a rumour to appease the public.
---------------------------------------
Shigeaki’s POV
I am an only child, just like any other heir, that’s why I’m lonely. My parents do make sure that they give me everything I need but I know they are busy so when I reached the age of 7, I stopped asking for attention. This worried my parents but I can see that they are relieved that I’m not an attention-hungry son. My mother, Jun, takes care of me the most but he is also the most strict. He taught me the do’s and don’ts of royalty, he raised me as an intellectual. He hired dozens of teachers to make me the perfect heir. In short, he styled me to perfection, and my father cannot be happier. They love each other, I can see that, and I am thankful that we are a happy family.
It’s another usual day, I stayed in my room with another book, Fire’s heir is again demanding for me to come out. I just ignore him, I’m used to it anyway. I get bored easily, that’s why I put down my book and decide to walk around the palace. I wander around the palace, seemingly in a stupor and I didn’t even notice that I’m already outside the throne room. I open it partially at first and I immediately hear my parents talking.
“We can’t let him go out. The prophecy, Jun.” I hear my father tell my mother.
“He needs to go out, Sho. He’s lonely. He doesn’t have friends.” My mother tells my father.
“The prophecy clearly states that it’s either the Fire Sorcerer’s heir kills or falls in love with the Water Wielder’s heir. At the rate that the Fire’s heir is going, he’s going to kill Shigeaki.” So that’s why they are so protective of me. They don’t trust me to take care of myself. I immediately run back to my room and started packing. I only took a little clothing, my sword, a dagger, and my book of spells. I already managed to summon all elements, and I am very good at it. I prepare to leave, I get a horse in the barn and leave using the main gate where the Fire’s heir is camped out.
---------------------------------------
Ryo’s POV
I see someone leaving the gates of the palace and I immediately stop and corner him. He looks normal to me but I can never be sure since I have never seen Water’s heir.
“Who are you and why are you leaving the palace?” I tell him, a dagger ready to slit his throat.
“I’m Shige, and I am a commoner. I’m leaving the palace because I’m sick and tired of my life inside.” He tells me. I inwardly smirk. An opportunity has come.
“Why don’t you join us? I want to challenge Water’s heir in a battle. Say, do you personally know him?” I ask Shige.
“Only parliament members close to the family knows him, and knows what he looks like.” So the heir’s a loner. “How come? Is he abnormal?” I cannot help but ask. “I don’t think so. His parents are very protective of him. He may be walking around the palace among servants but we can never identify him.” I can see that he is answering my questions truthfully.
I can use this guy, I decide. He seems strong, good-looking, and basically good-natured. I like him already even though he’s a Water Wielder. I also decided that we’ll retreat. It seems as though the prince is an introvert and a coward. There’s no hope in my asking for a fight. My soldiers seemed surprised but nonetheless relieved by my sudden decision. I take Shige back with me in the palace.
---------------------------------------
Shigeaki’s POV
The journey to the Fire Sorcerer’s palace is long and tiring but it was worth it. Ryo made the journey enjoyable too. He entertained me with his jokes while also relentlessly making fun of me. I’m already used to it since he always shouted at me from outside our palace but he didn’t need to know that. I’m wary of falling in love but being with Ryo, having his constant companionship made falling in love easier. The prophecy is coming true, I’m falling in love with him, and I think he feels the same way.
He let me stay in his palace, study whatever I want. He trusts me completely and I feel so guilty about lying to him. He deserves to know the truth but I’m afraid he’ll hate me. Nevertheless, I will tell him tomorrow. He deserves to know the truth. But tonight, I’ll be his lover.
I sneak into his room, get into his bed and hug him from behind. He seemed genuinely surprised but he relaxed immediately. “I love you.” I hear him say.
---------------------------------------
Ryo goes in for the kill and kisses Shige hard and passionate on the lips. Shige automatically opens his mouth and welcomes Ryo’s tongue into his mouth. The fight for dominance ensues and lasts for a good five minutes. It’s breathtaking and right that it brings tears to Shige’s eyes. When Ryo felt tears stream down the face of his lover, he pulls away and wipes the tears.
“I’m sorry.” Shige says and again takes Ryo’s breath away.
Not long after, Ryo straddles Shige, knees on both sides of the younger’s hips. They feel their arousals brush against each other and this prompted moans from both.
“Ryo…faster.” Shige mutters and this only made Ryo’s arousal kick into full action.
They hurriedly remove each other’s clothes and as soon as both is fully naked, Shige started stroking Ryo’s erection before taking him fully into his mouth. Ryo’s hands immediately went to Shige’s hair, and started moaning like a whore. When Ryo feels himself get close, he pulled Shige up and kissed him hard on the lips before making Shige suck his three fingers. Seeing Shige sucking his fingers like that only made Ryo harder than he already is. He pulled his fingers off and started preparing the young one.
When he is sure that Shige is fully prepares, Ryo sinks into the younger one’s warmth, moaning as he feels Shige tighten around him. He takes the heir’s legs and puts it on his shoulders to get more depth. He started moving when he felt Shige squirm under him. Their rhythm is uneven at first and Ryo kept looking at Shige with love in his eyes. They gradually gained pace and became in sync with each other. They both know that they’re close and this only prompted a faster pace. They feel themselves get close and soon enough, they’re coming all over the sheets and themselves. Ryo pulls out and slumped beside Shige, hugging the young heir close to his chest and promptly falling asleep.
---------------------------------------
Shige’s POV
I wake up, hearing cries from outside the Fire Sorcerer’s palace. I look around and find Ryo still asleep. He looks peaceful, not wary of what is to come today. I feel hot, wet tears slide down my cheeks as I sweep hair out of his face. I kiss him one last time and slide out the bed. I pick up my clothes and return to my room, packing my bag. I take out my spell book and look for the teleportation spell but before he cast the spell, Ryo entered the room. He looked confused and I sigh and take a seat.
“Ryo, please sit down. I need to tell you something.” I tell him and he obediently sat down beside me.
“Shige, what’s wrong?” He asks me.
“Promise you won’t hate me?” I ask him. “I promise.” He takes my hands into his.
“The reason why I left the palace is because I overheard my parents talking about a prophecy. The prophecy states that it’s either the Fire Sorcerer’s heir kills or falls in love with the Water Wielder’s heir. They didn’t want me to get killed.” I finally tell him.
“That’s the prophecy? And you’re the Water Wielder’s heir?” He released my hands and looked at me, millions of emotions can be seen in his eyes. Betrayed, sad, and many more.
“I’m sorry I lied. I only ever wanted to prove myself to my parents but I didn’t think that I would fall in love with you.” I tell him, my head down.
“You lied to me. You used me. GUARDS! Arrest him!” He shouted for the guards and they take me to the dungeon.
---------------------------------------
Ryo’s POV
After that talk with Shige, I go talk to my parents.
“Mother, father. Is it true?” I ask them.
“What’s true, son?” Father asked me.
“The prophecy, that I will either kill or fall in love with the Water Wielder’s heir.” I tell them what Shige told me.
“That. Yes, it’s true. Why?” My mother tells me.
“I just fell in love with Water’s heir.” I tell them quietly.
“What? How? When?” My father jumped on his feet and shook my shoulders.
“Shige. He’s the Water Wielder’s Shigeaki. He told me this morning. I put him in the dungeons.” I tell them.
“Do you really love him?” My mother ask me.
But before I can answer, there was a loud boom and we see the Water Wielder’s leader appear before us. And before we can attack, Shige appeared in front of me. He looked me in the eyes, it’s full of love and it hurt me so I look away. I look at them and it’s obvious that they are a close-knitted family. He started walking towards me and reaches out to hold my hands.
“Ryo, I’m sorry for lying to you. But believe me, I love you. Goodbye, my love.” He gives me one chaste kiss and lets go.
---------------------------------------
When the Water Wielder’s royal family leaves, Ryo sinks to the floor and cries. His parents have never seen him so weak before and it broke their heart.
“We’ll start peace talks with the Water Wielders as soon as possible.” This statement by the leader, Hideaki, surprised the young heir.
His parents immediately saw happiness in their son’s eyes and decided that they will do whatever it takes to bring Shige and Ryo together.
---------------------------------------
In the Water Wielder’s palace, Shigeaki locked himself in his room. Only coming out when he needs to eat. His parents got worried and agreed to have peace talks with the Fire Sorcerer’s.
Peace talks were settled four months later but Shige still refused to come out of his room. Ryo arrived at the palace immediately after the talks were settled and looked for Shige. He was led to a room and was told that Shige is inside.
---------------------------------------
Shige’s POV
Someone knocked on the door and opens it. I don’t look because I know it is one of the maids.
“Shige, look at me.” I hear a very familiar voice.
I look behind me and there he is, my love, Ryo, looking at me with those gentle eyes.
“Let’s get married. Peace talks were settled between our clans and we’re free to get married now.” He tells me, taking my hands into his.
“But I lied to you.”
“I understand why you lied, please forgive me for putting you to jail.”
“No, please forgive me for lying to you.”
“I forgave you a long time ago.” He utters that sentence and then captures my lips into his.“I forgave you a long time ago.” He utters that sentence and then captures my lips into his.
