once again, brillisnt as ever.
why doesn't the fourth doctor ever trip over his scarf? i have a similar one and i do it all the time!
alice the cat sounds very cool, a bit like one in the tamora pierce, tortall, books. I can't remember for the life of me what its called. except it had purple eyes.
this is starting to turn out a little bit like bill and ted's excellent adventure :D
now i need to go and watch house, else i'll miss the very beginning bit and get confused...

Thanks! :DD
He does sometimes! I remember a couple occasions. He's also gotten it stuck on things. XD I have a really nice fourth Doctor scarf and it's even cooler because it looks awesome too, so I can wear it out without feeling like a total dork. XD Since I live in America, most people wouldn't recognize it. :D
My sister is a huge fan of Tamora Pierce, but I've never read any of her books. The cat is actually based off my OWN cat, who is also named Alice, and they're alike in pretty much every way except that my cat doesn't live in Ankh-Morpork. XD
I've never heard of that either. XDD
Thanks for the comment~! :D

Oh yay! I'm so glad you liked it! XD The next chapter is being written right now and hopefully it'll be finished fairly soon, if the beginning of classes doesn't get in the way. XD
Thanks so much for the comment~.

Archimedes! That's bloody brilliant.

Don't you wander off either. I mean that!" Yep. That's definitely going to work...

Donna definitely knows how to get everybody to do what she wants ;-)

And I loved the Poker game. Especially the fifty Lira coin. It's funny because I happen to have a hundred Lira coin (equalling five euro cent ;-)) as a good luck charm. I don't believe in that sort of thing but I got it from a friend - what? - eleven years ago. Tempus fugit...

Blargh, I was telling my co-author she should answer this because it's her chapter, but noooooo. Anyway, glad you liked Archimedes! I don't even remember how the decision was made to include him, but the justification went along the lines of "If you're including an obscure German soap opera, I get to put in Archimedes!" He's pretty awesome.

Yeah, the Doctor should just RFID chip all his companions. I guess that's what the TARDIS keys are for.

Really?? I'm almost too young to remember pre-Euro, but if that's the value of the Lira, I shudder to think what the drachma is/was worth. That's cool, though. Coins are such good souvenirs. And you bet time flies. Soon you're going to be showing it to kids and going "WHEN WE WERE YOUNG, WE USED PIECES OF WORTHLESS METAL AS CURRENCY." Now whether you're all using credit or the world financial system has collapsed, that's the real question.

Yeah, the philosophical discussion with Wilson about modern/futuristic was great...

A TARDIS key as the equivalent of a cow's ear mark. Ouch! ;-) And in this case it wouldn't work as the only persons on the Disc with TARDIS keys would be Four and Sarah Jane (if I recall everything right)...

I looked it up: The fixed exchange rate (since 2001) is 1 € = 340,75 GRD. The credit card scenario is more likely, though. Even if the world financial system collapses we still need money as a means to exchange goods. I think you can do without money in every day life but on a larger scale (between companies) it's just impossible...

Oh dear. You just made me go back and check and realize I never wrote a scene where Ten gives everyone TARDIS keys before they go out into Singapore, but I thought I had. However, everyone has a key on the Pirates side. I don't think Four's as meticulous about that, so you're probably right. But yeah, that's pretty much what I have Ten use the keys as in my sections :)

That's insane. And I thought the conversion to Yen was bad. Let's hope everything's in credit or even more hand-wavey like in Star Trek! But just imagine major corporations bartering! McDonald's: Hey Siemens, we'll trade you 30 million Bic Macs for a train.
