FICTION: Premature

This is some fiction. It's not up to much, but what the hell.

I was born in the wrong time. Lots of people say that, but I mean it in a literal sense. My mother took too many Anachro pills in the second trimester and at 32 weeks I was ripped out of the womb by a temporal spasm and deposited in the early 21st century.

Pffft. It's brilliant. Publishable. Original.

I love the ideas, the Anacro pills and the tourism etc surrounding it. Especially the humour. Some laugh out loud moments.I love reading your fiction.

I don't know about brilliant or publishable or even original, but I'm surprised by how well it read when I looked at it again. I have no fucking patience when it comes to this stuff - I just write it, read it over and bang it up there. I really need to learn to refine stuff instead of just cranking it out.

Speaking of fiction, WHEN IS THIS JACK KICKING OFF SCENE OUT?

I'm the same. I read mine over once correct spellings, the odd sentence and up on LJ it goes. I have no idea how to refine stuff. I'm half trying with the beginning of Ave's story but it's not going too well.

Cranking stuff out is good though cuz that's where all the ideas come from.

The Jack kicking off scene is waiting patiently fr me to finish the next chapter which I'm having a bit of trouble with. That kick off scene will be a couple of chapters away I think. This next chapter has a tiny incident with Jack causing minor superficial damage but it's not on a par with the previously mentioned gratuitous punching and yelling all hell breaking loose scene. Which was, as Callum might say 'jolly fun' to write.
