Angels and Vagabonds is one of my most very favorite stories. Thank you for some insight into how it came about. The undercurrent of dysfunctional team that seemed to run through seasons 4 and 5 always left me with a kind of fandom nervousness, which I guess you could say came to a head with Meridian.

I love that each member of our team gets to shine in this story, using their strengths in equal measure with sincere concern.

A must-read for every loyal SG-1 fan <3

I haven't read this story yet, but I wanted to let you know that you had me at "I've also never thought Daniel was a guy who needed to be cut much of a break--the guy can hold his own (against his team or anyone else), and I've always thought Daniel sometimes pushed Jack just because he could." And then you said "there is strain in S4 and S5--it's subtext and it's there, and it's smoothed out in S7." And just, YES.

So now I have to read this fic this week.

One of my favorite moments from S7 is when Daniel goes to stick his head in the Ancient device and Jack grabs him and won't let him. Says it all right there.
