It would be nice if the morons in the deans office would provide the library with the funds to get optical mouses for the circulation staff. I'm getting a wee bit annoyed with having to wash mouse balls. Granted there was a good six months in which I was not working here. But I was washing balls with windex then as well

That's very cool that you and your grandmother are doing that. I wish that I had sat down with my parents and a tape recorder before they died. Yes, they talked about stuff from their childhoods, etc before....but *years* before...and with my crappy memory....:( There is so much I wish I knew now. I can offer my daughters almost nothing of my father's family background. Also, his past.....rich rich stories of experiences that almost nobody has....and I have forgotten most of it.

I fear that now with Jerry gone, My past will fade into oblivion. I've tried to remember so many things with terrible results.
