What exactly was Sylar's power to begin with? He fixes clocks? Is his power that he can kill people and take their powers? And I'm a little fuzzy on how that works exactly. It's all pretty damn confusing. Solved ( Read more... )

Sylar's power was called "intuitive aptitude". It means he can look at things and figure out how they work or how to fix them. Which is why he was the awesome watch man before he became crazy. I think his power also taught him how to find the other people's powers and what he needed to do to get them. Or something like that.

Ahh, I thought it was something like that, although we still don't know how exactly he gets people's powers, right?

Nope, that part is still a mystery. I think Tim Kring laughs off the "he eats brains" theory, but we'll see.

If he's eating brains, he manages to get blood all over his hands but none around his mouth, so who knows.

Oh but how freaking cute is the Parkman-Suresh family? Seriously, I wasn't shipping anyone on this show, but I newly have a slashy love for Matt and Mohinder.

Ooooh yes. I love those two.

I've looked at the picture in freeze frame now. The people we don't know about:

There are two women at the left side of the picture. A blonde is standing next to Linderman, and another woman is sitting down next to Charles. My DVR isn't very good, but it looks like she has a darker complextion. Could it be their wives? And yet, they certainly didn't seem to be around for their deaths.

Then sitting near the middle is the man you mentioned before, and standing next to Papa Parkman is the woman.

The last person is sitting down in front of Papa Parkman so we can't see him except to see that it is a man with white hair. (Get your hand out of the way, Matt!!)

You're welcome. *grin* The woman next to Charles isn't Uhura. She looks younger than the rest, but that could just be due to aging well.
