One of those things I just have to share...

So in my great television project, I've been watching Doctor Who (which is amazing by the way and I'll extrapolate about later), and I downloaded some episodes of Torchwood (which I've yet to watch) and converted them for my iPod, so I was looking for a picture for the album cover in iTunes. Which is how I found this:

The book doesn't actually exist. I just put it into the list because (a) I was bored, and (b) anyone who saw it who was a DW fan would have a shared inside-joke moment. I mean, the whole "Bad Wolf" thing was supposed to be scattered through space and time, so why not in the mind of a publisher somewhere? The Torchwood Press bit is probably pushing it too far.

And actually, the title works in its own weird way: the main bad guy (I'm assuming you haven't read it) calls himself 'the maddog', and some foreign translations have played on that theme. The French edition is 'Le Jeu du chien-loup', which works out to 'Game of the Dog-Wolf' or somesuch.

So... yeah, just an inside reference to DW, nothing beyond that. You're the first person (that I know of) to get it.

Wow, I feel kinda special. Yeah, I did see that in the French title and I'd just figured somehow the Welsh translation came out similar or something.

Pretty funny though. You fooled me. ;)
