I absolutely adore the way this is written. It's so warm and funny - you had me smiling all the way through. Highlights? Well, there's Elijah being a surgeon...

"Elijah, if you don't mind me asking, how old are you now?"

"19," Elijah said, a hint of defiance in his large blue eyes. "How old are you?"

! Priceless. :D Then there's this one:

"I hope you don't mind buses."

"Not at all," Orlando said pleasantly.

For some reason, Elijah's 'I hope you don't mind buses' really tickles me. :D Then there's Elijah taking care of his date, and Orli's repost...

Elijah rolled his eyes. "My collar comes up higher than yours. Just put it on, would you? You'll catch a chill."

"Is that true? Medically, I mean." Orlando, half-joking, wrapped the scarf round his neck. It smelled vaguely
like coffee, aftershave and a different scent that he couldn't identify. "Thanks, anyway."

"No problem," Elijah said. "And yes, it is medically true."

♥ And then this...

"First dates end in kisses," Elijah said, moving closer ( ... )
