I was prowling for a summary of Taiyou no Romance, and noticed that Bliss just released the first two chapters of the first volume scanlated.
Yamakami Riyu is on my maybe-curious list right now -- I have really liked a couple of her titles in scanlation, not liked others so much. I looked for her stuff in Japan and discovered that she's written about a million things, so I picked up one or two and they're in the to-read pile. What's Taiyou about (as far as you can tell) and how is it depressing in the later volumes? Is it still running?
Thinking of downloading, but chinese raws drive me loopy -- it's like not being able to read Japanese all over again!
Info from the first 2 chapters. Two guys in Ayabe's school seem to appear out of nowhere, but everyone else says they've always been there. Shidou is in the same class as Ayabe and he's kind of dark/emotionless creepy. The other guy is Kubota and Ayabe gets warning signals when they first talk to each other. Shidou comes to stop Kubota when he starts to attack Ayabe. Ayabe is completely lost as both guys start to refer to him as an offering and that they'll be killing him. Shidou claims that Ayabe is his, since he found him first. They both fight with supernatural powers. Kubota uses the wind. Shidou has a fire dragon that's part of his arm
