There was an interesting discussion in my physics class the other day.  The professor was explaining a word problem that involved two boats drifting alongside each other at different velocities, and the problem involved the scenario of stuff from one boat being dropped onto the other.  The following discussion went something like this:

I saw pictures on /m/

There was a lot of fanboy rage over the skirts being longer. XD

...Is that a spin-off on "Cupid"? Oh, bummer, it's already cancelled.

Naturally. Because it's not like the original series costumes were influenced by the times, no. XD

I don't think it's a spin-off. Aw, too bad.

Of course not! Too bad it's the wrong time period for guys in skirts, AFAIK.

It is therefore primed for crossovers. >3

LOL this post made me laugh. That whole ship thing was interesting, considering that movies teach us nothing about rl, particluarly supernatural ones like POTC. ;)

OMGSTARTREK! When does it come out again?

I don't watch Smallville but in all incarnations of Superman (minus "Returns"), the characters are pretty interesting and well-written...though Smallville's Lana sounds annoying as fuck.

Ellis is in something else and I wasn't aware?????????????????????

It comes out on May 8, 2009. :D

Ah yes, Lana. I didn't like her much. However, as of the beginning of this season, she is no longer a regular character. ;) I think part of the reason I like the recent episodes so much is that Clark has finally made it to The Daily Planet, and the banter with Lois has been great.

Yes, apparently his character is some interpretation of the Greek god Ares? Anyway, there's a promo picture of him on the official site right here.

Ah, Lois and Clark. Everything they do is perfection (unless they're played by Kate Bosworth and Brandon Routh >:o...sorry bitterness over). FABULOUS and great couple. I should really start watching Smallville, I think.

That's appropriate, as he is somewhat of a god to me. ;)
