Time for my new years meme again! Year 5 and counting. Pretty nifty if you ask me.
1. What did you do in 2007 that you'd never done before?
Hahahahahahahahhaahahahahaha. July 28th 2007, if I'm not mistaken... A crazy night involving Hennessy, politeness, and a pool. Oh Rossini...
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Fuck that shit.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
A few cousins methinks.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
I found out a few days that a friend of the family died a week or so ago. My parents were surprised when I cried. I mean, I hadn't seen him in a long time, but when I was a kid, he'd come over with his wife and Shelley and I would dress him up as a woman while he got drunk. He and Carol moved to the Virgin Islands from Canada, so I REALLY didn't see them, but Carol and Joe would always send us cards no matter how long it had been wishing us Happy Birthday and all that jazz. It's pretty sad... makes me happy that I'm not THAT big of a boozer. His liver gave out at 60 years old. Dude... in four years my dad will be 60. That's scary... *shivers*
5. What countries did you visit?
Canada and USA
6. What would you like to have in 2007 that you lacked in 2006?
A boy. Also, a seizure-free lifestyle.
7. What date from 2007 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Uh... let's pick one. I had a pretty crazy summer. I guess I'll just go for July 28th 2007... it was the hurdle that I jumped to get over my demons. Pretty sweet.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
NOT flunking all of my classes this semester. Getting promoted. Not killing Sharon.

Finding a type of life to lead that will not cause me seizures.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Well, the obvious. I had laryngitis and a cold and I got Lamictal poisioning too! w00t.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
my iPhone!
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
I have so many amazing people surrounding me... Khaki was pretty incredible helping me deal with all of the bullshit. I'm so happy that we were able to get close again. Michelle is consistently amazing too.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Fifth year in a row answer? George Bush.
14. Where did most of your money go?
Apple. Really. Between buying my stock, my iPhone and iTunes, I spent *counts* god damn. Nearly $7,000. Thankfully I'll get a large portion of that back with the stock.
15. What did you get really excited about?
July 2007. I had so many amazing things. I turned 21, my Mom turned 50, Lauren turned 21, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows came out, I saw John Mayer and Ben Folds (who covered the Postal Service as I wore my Harry and the Potters t-shirt) in concert... it was pretty mindblowing. I also had some pretty important heart-to-hearts that made the quality of my life improve greatly.

All my peeps who were in Raleigh when I was in Greensboro. My Grandma.

There are some pretty incredible people that I met at work. Ann (my boss) is pretty awesome.
40. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year:
I can't pick. I'm between:
"I am the baby of the family, it happens, so
Everybody cares and wears the sheeps' clothes
While they chaperone
Curious, you looking down your nose at me, while you appease
Courteous, to try and help - but let me set your
Mind at ease"
-- Fiona Apple - Extraordinary Machine
OR
"And you say,"Just be here now
Forget about the past
Your mask is wearing thin"
Let me throw one more dice
I know that I can win
I'm waiting for my real life to begin"
-- Colin Hay Band - Waiting For My Real Life to Begin
And if you are curious, here are the four years prior...
2006! 2005! 2004! 2003!
