The boys are demi gods. The tribunal talks to each others spirits and has special powers. There's talk of Charles being otherworldly as well.
Bear with me here.
Since there is a recurring theme of fantasy in this show, would it be that much of a stretch to consider the surviving Jomfru had some sort of psychic/so intelligent that he can tap into the collective consciousness of the universe powers?
I mean, they were introduced as being super smart. They dropped out of HARVARD. Plus he's got that whole Professor X smart guy in a wheelchair routine down, and we all know what Professor X did. ^_^ Plus, WHY THE HELL ELSE KEEP HIM ALIVE???
There were diagrams of fucking missiles in that tiny room with him. I'm thoroughly convinced that Charles had caught wind of Selatcia's existence and his threat toward Dethklok.
You know, I've been toying with the idea of coming up with a brutal-enough-for-Charles scarf pattern and knitting one up. I think you've just given me the pattern name. =) Any objections?
Am I the only one who thinks dead!Charles is really, really hot? My inner goth girl is coming out, methinks.
HAHA OH GOD THE NOTE. I just...there was too much that absolutely killed me in this episode. Charles' pissed-off-tranquil-rage-parent voice scared me quite a bit. XD
Hmm. I kind of see what you mean. At this point it's really just wishful thinking on our part that they incorporate some overarcing mythology into everything. At the same time I would love it if they did put in some more "official" mythology quirks.
Movie's supposed to be about the band getting together, so hopefully there will be some sort of "origin of the metalocalypse powers" thing involved.
I have so many ideas about Charles. The idea of him being superhuman all along really works in with my tentative theory about Magnus, but it also counters the fact that I really want Charles to be a Badass Normal and not just another superhuman. It would be pretty epic if he had powers...but it would be even more amazing if he didn't and he could still impose a HUGE threat to anyone who wants to manipulate Dethklok.

This episode was all balls...they are bringing up issues mainstream t.v. won't touch. Also love how they portrayed the UN as having the mentality of a teenager. Connecting the Middle East with a pentagram was as brutal as it gets. This episode made up for a plot-less season.

I have no idea about the scar thing though.....

Yeah I'm certain those missiles have something to do with Falconback or Selatcia. My guess is he's monitoring it secretly or planning a counterstrike.
