Crossposted in parts to badfic_quotes~

Just when you thought it was safe to get out of the water, someone plunged into the Pit and rewrote Sailor Moon as:

The little mermaid
Sporkage Under Cut... )

...in the very beginning, I found you were a bit too harsh for minors writing sins...
...several lines later, I've lost my last bit of compassion for the poor author...XD;

That being said, I've stoped at the middle of the "story", it was too much for me. So kudo for you, I dunno if you're masochistic, a black belt in sporking after years of enduring badfics, always searching new challenge, or if this masterpiece was so bad that it became addicting...but I wouldn't have survived until the end, no matters how short it could be.^^;

(At least, My immortal was scary in its badness but disturbingly funny, this one is just so boring once the sue-detector was ringing so much that it hurts...)

And, my God, it reminds me this story in the french corner of the DC fandom, the form and the fandom could change, but the essential part is keeping its purity, it's scary...O_o;

You know, at first I did want to go easy, considering the author was trying to be creative, but the vagueness/OOC-ness/Mary Sue-ness brought that down fast.

I'd started sporking this awhile ago and shoved it on the back burner, only to finish it now. Glad you liked it! LOL, My Immortal is a classic among badfics!

Oh, geez. Don't tell me that French DC fic turned Conan into a merman.

"You know, at first I did want to go easy, considering the author was trying to be creative, but the vagueness/OOC-ness/Mary Sue-ness brought that down fast."
Oh, I get what you means... I've had a similar guilt problem when I've offered constructive criticism to a young author, making her first step in fandom with a Sue...^^;
(But well, with sporking, you could be free of guilt more easyly....XD)

"My Immortal is a classic among badfics!"
You know that badness is awesome when someone who didn't know the canon(me, whop haven't read a single line from Rowlings) could feel the OOC-ness with a ten-miles stick...XD
(I still ponders if My immortal could be seen as a badfic...After all, I'm sure it's a parody...)

"Oh, geez. Don't tell me that French DC fic turned Conan into a merman."
No(t yet?)XD
It was just the universal Sue-ism, it doesn't change, no matters if it's hiding behind an OC or an OOC canon character.

About half way through reading, I wanted to shoot myself. *dies*

The spork spareth no rod yet tames the cruelest punishment....of reading this crapfic. XD

Anyone up for some cheese? There's a lot of it here!

I'm so sorry, Ran that you had to read a badfic. Your fandom really suffers....as well as mine. *Pulls out the bagpipes and plays "Amazing Grace" as the pages go up in flames....to roast marshmallows.*

Yum...

The hacking of Disney quotes really clinched it for me that original thought was out the window in the worst possible way.

I have to commend the author for trying....if she was 13.
