Urgh, what a week! Bet you're glad that one's over, and here's hoping this one is better. We seem to be nearly over all our technofail, pending the purchase of a wireless repeater to make the router reach to the attic. If that doesn't work, I'm going to have one unhappy husband! Poor boy, even his stapler wouldn't co-operate this morning.

My user info has just alerted me to the fact that you have one of those interesting days on Wednesday and I have one on Friday :) I'll inbox you my mobile number (that being the one thing that has worked faultlessly throughout) and let you pick a non-coffee moment, but will have to be next week now (ie 8th onwards) as this one is filling up rapidly with appointments and visitors!

It certainly was a stressful week. Have you tried Jewson's for kitchens? They have some really nice ones and although they don't fit them themselves, they usually have the business cards of a number of companies they recommend.

Thanks for that. We're currently at a choice between Ikea and a local company. All kitchen fitters seem to be sub-contract these days.

Will have to try West Bulls. We had roast and pud for £6.75 at the Priory Inn on Sunday and it wasn't too bad. The roast was average, but the Millionaire Shortbread Ice Cream Cake was fab!
