I amso impressed with you! When I first moved into my place I 'did' the garden - I dug up one side of the lawn and relaid it. (it's a tiny garden). And then the next year did planting and weeding and all that stuff - and really enjoyed it. However since then I haven't had the time and the weeds have taken over and some nasty plant from next door has got into the lawn - so much need to be done. However last year my flatmate and myself did the little area outside the kitchen - it's a nice little suntrap so we painted the walls white and made a nice sitting area with potted plants and candles. And suddenly that became my smoking area...... Rats! But there is no shelter. What I really want to do is patio the lot and add a few raised beds. So currently you are my insperation! Go You!
