for those following the saga

perlmonger has documented our delightful Wednesday here - I've had better days, frankly.

still, I'm finding the ripping of the vile blown vinyl wallpaper from the landing walls quite therapeutic, so I go out and do a bit of that from time to time.

health, work, pete, home

Well I'll be thinking of you both and hoping it's not MS after all. Jane's Mum had it and another friend of ours does now.

It's the uncertainty that I'd find hard to cope with. FWIW I'll have a word with The Man Upstairs - I know you're not that way inclined, but it can't hurt, can it?

twelve years of convent education knocked any sense of religion out of me :)

but whatever happens, we'll just have to deal with it somehow. There are plenty of sellers of private drugs (as it were) in Bristol (allegedly). And it's still only a 50% chance at worst, so a 50% chance he won't contract it.

I'm very glad we have our own business and can be flexible, though - trying to organise that now would be tricky. We'll cope - it's what people do.

but thanks for your kind thoughts - it's much appreciated.
