 Another pan Arab world song in the time of Nasser showing the main view of Egyptian public opinion during this tough period of Egypt's history, I  named  this article after the previous article published in my friend (alphistia)'s Journal, so my special thanks for him for the title

Disturbing and... inspiring...

I agree especially with the disturbing part, you see it feels like a brain washing as if simply Egypt was changed from the devilish land to be an angel by Nasser!!
this period was even harder than the time being with millions of similar songs, you know that at these years patriot songs were as much as love songs!!!

yet it was a good period for liberals, I mean girls went to college in Micro skirts . there was even sexual freedom including homosexuality!
even there were authorized prostitution!

every day there was a demonstration or two!
I don't know but it seems like a good period in some aspects isn't it?
sometimes I wish if time gets backwards!
