Back when we were card-carrying skeptics, gvdub and I used to go to the annual Skeptics Conference when it was held in Pasadena. Amusing, informative, and a great place to socialize with fellow science-minded weirdos.

Heard at a party: "I don't like the Skeptics Society. It's full of those holier-than-thou atheists."
