Last day of freedom

That's right. . . I'm trying the whole Lent thing again. This time, it's a big project. I'm giving up:
  • Coffee.

  • Pop/soda/fizzy drinks/whatever you want to call them, except for ginger ale, which I need in case of tummy trouble.

  • Sugary treats. This includes adding sugar to my oatmeal, Kashi Go Lean bars (which have added sugar), and of course ( Read more... )

Fortunately I nipped the caffeine withdrawal in the bud last month when I dramatically cut back on the pop and coffee. It'll be tough not having them because I've gotten so used to it, but I shouldn't physically suffer. In any case, I'm still letting myself have tea of the caffeinated variety. :)

Well that pretty much eliminates most of what I make for girls' nights.

Booze still works though, right? I have lots of that.

Oh, don't feel bad on my account. Everyone else can eat your delicious goodies. I'll just enjoy them all the more after April 24th. ;) My veggie tray goodness will more than tide me over. :)

And booze is still perfectly in order.
