Now that I've seen it again and had a better look, I'm pretty sure that one of the summer bird babies is half cardinal and half lark sparrow. Her body's the right size and coloration, but with a bright orange baby-cardinal beak and red-brown cardinal crest and long red-brown tailfeathers.
