You see, I like DRACO! I never really liked Tom Felton at ALL. He is a face that I have been trying to train myself to like because I like DRACO.
So, she's got it backwards.
Draco is certainly much more intelligent than Ron. And much more witty. In fact, upon going through the books I often think that he looks to be having the best sense of humor of them all. Of course, he also IS a bit of a nasty git, I can't really refute that, but, you know, he could grow out of it. It's part of growing up to realize that maybe you shouldn't treat other people so badly.
Also, it's not like Ron didn't go around bullying younger kids as he got older, too.
GAH!
Thank God for fan fiction...

Yeah, I have to say, when i heard that quote I thought it was pretty reductive. Just because SHE doesn't like Draco doesn't mean there aren't people who are going to relate or like him just because of who he is. And his family issues. Because even if book 2, we see that Draco's family life is high on material things but very, very low on affection, and some people are going to relate to that.
Draco, for all his evilness, was shown to be pretty intelligent throughout the books. It makes sense to me to have Draco and Hermione as a couple.
*nods* Yep. Personally, I always liked the Romeo and Juliet aspects of that pairing - that they were really across enemy lines and each of their families/friends who have hated it. Plus, for a while I thought Draco was going to switch sides and have a redemption arc (which sort of happened, but not really in a way I expected).
was pretty pissed off at Hermione's epilogue. We find out that Ron is an Auror but all we know about Hermione that she's a Mrs. Weasley and has popped out a couple of kids. REALLY?!? This is someone who has the potential to be headmaster of hogwarts or Minister of Magic. I would sooner believe Hermione as the Auror and Ron the stay at home dad.
Same here. Everyone I know hates the epilogue for many reasons, but you listed most of mine.

I was not amused.
