I love your Rei, I love how she's a mix of being cold and analytical (at least when she talks) but she's also so warm and kind and deeply in love.
You balance them so well and you make it so plausible that he's ok with her dictating a lot of their relationship, not many men are comfortable that, but you make it work. They just seem to understand each other so well. It's perfect.
I love how they're always playing between the lines of challenging each other and just giving in.
He moved closer, and with an artful carelessness, she laid her head to the side, presenting her cheek for a kiss. He took it, grinning still. Precise as a kabuki play, his girl, and twice as likely to get offended if he missed one of her little gestures. Luckily, he was a quick study.This is probably my favourite line in this section, it just shows so much, how she shows her deep emotions with tiny subtle gestures, and how he *actually* catches these little things and knows what to do ( ... )
