Ever since Disney+ started I've really been enjoying the show Encore! Where adults come back many years later to redo their high school musical. I swear I've cried on every episode. It's crazy how we don't let go of the pain we went through as a teenager. And how we may have grown and are more confident now but as soon as you see an old H.S. friend ( Read more... )

Our schooldays seem quite similar in ways of being shy and feeling different to others. Even now I'm still very shy and young at heart for my age. I've always felt years younger than I am and relate a lot to this post. I love it when people dare to be different and go their own way. They are people who shine brightly to me.

Sounds like we'd been good friends back in school.. I'm definitely a lot younger at heart than my age. Always will be I'm sure.

Photobucket sucks! I don't use that anymore and deleted my account there. It's a shame you can't use it anymore like it was possible before. I'm still so annoyed about it. I uploaded all my LJ stuff here and link it from here because I know no better way :/

And yay for finding a new show to enjoy :)

It definitely does. And I'm going to have to figure something out because I love my mood theme. I just dread having to reupload them, so time consuming.

It was the easiest for me to uplload it here on LJ. Lots of fumbling though with all mood having its own url but worth it as I made myself a ZQ one :P I hope you'll find a way to get yours back soon :)

I'm somewhat hesitant to watch Encore! precisely because of the elements you describe--it might bring up some long-ago pain and the associated regrets from that time.

You're not wrong about Photobucket, though. :/ It was once so useful in conjunction with posting here, but they've deliberately undermined that.
