I was trying to decide on a fandom of the month but instead my mind has just been wandering from one fandom, or potential fandom, to another in a hodge-podge of randomness. Which wouldn't be so bad if I didn't now want to read fics for all the programs I've just been looking at.

I keep having this plot bunny to write a Criminal Minds/NCIS crossover featuring JJ/Ziva...but I never quite get around to it.

Wicked! I'm re-watching Shaun of the Dead right now as well! It's on TV. Again. I love that movie. And I also loved that scene in Criminal Minds. You're right, those scenes are so rare that when you see them they are just gems. Thanks for sharing!

I do love 'Shaun of the Dead' and 'Spaced' and 'Hot Fuzz'. There's just something about the humour that appeals to me.

It's almost as if female friendship is a foreign concept to the people who write these cop type shows. Male bonding, sure, but female? It totally confuses them.

really got into Criminal Minds this season and I love Garcia with a passion... haven't quite decided who to pair her with though. One of these days I will write something for her.

I do love Garcia, although her crush on Mason has always blotted out her femslash potential for me - and somehow her friendship with JJ has always seemed so very 'buddies' in nature. But I'm sure reading a story or two could change my mind *g*,

I love Kerry and Abby. I wish more people would write them (because I can't. And I've tried).

And also, watching the last few episodes of Criminal Minds this season, I decided that I wanted to read some JJ/Garcia fic, but I haven't figured out how to write it yet. But: as a line, "I work for the FBI" is a pretty interesting one. I'd love to see one of the characters try to pull it off.

Also, because I don't think I've asked you this before, is there a story attached to your header? Because there should be. Why does Sam have all those Polaroids on the wall? And is it anything like from that episode of Murder in Suburbia?

I'd love to see some JJ/Emily fic with heavy doses of Garcia and maybe a crossover for Garcia? Although I'm not sure who with.

As for the header, I am sworn to secrecy, but lets just say that Sam's been a very busy girl.

Which Emily? Because there are quite a few awesome ones, and if you say Emily from The Devil Wears Prada I will... be happy. Very, very happy.

That's one of the many reasons I love and adore about Criminal Minds: the characters (even the female ones, which is rare) feel very genuine and real, and the writers now how to include some comedy in the otherwise gloomy episodes as well. That particular bonding scene was most definitely one of my favourites this season.

And yes, the t-shirt look of the season finale was very nice. ♥

Emily and JJ really need to hook up, now! I wish Emily had innocently glanced at JJ during her "You can't help who you fall in love with" line, heh.
