My entry in the Fragments of Sappho challenge:

Requester: darandkerry
Fandom & Pairing: CSI, Sara/Sofia

Squicks: no Catherine bashing, no mention of Grissom
Rating: whatever floats your boat
Spoilers: who cares

Fragment: I conversed with you in a dream

A/N: This probably isn't what darandkerry had in mind with the prompt, so ( Read more... )

Thanks, I'm glad you're not too disappointed. I kept wanting to delete and write something a little more cheerful but somehow I couldn't.

first - I need a sophia icon (or a sara/sophia icon...)

next - wow

finally - WOW

but tell me there will be another part - you have left such a perfect opening for a sequel - and I doubt I'll ever look at a margarita the same way again

Yes, you do need a Sara/Sofia icon - there are quite a few about.

I didn't even know what a margarita was but it worked out okay - I had to totally fudge the number of digits in a US phone number though - cheers.

For a Sappho challenge fic that was amazing; so poetical (and I know that's not a real word but it's late, and I can't think of a better one!), lyrical, and just right for the scene you were expanding on and improving in the process.

I think you have these two nailed :)

I think poetical is a lovely word ::grin::

Thanks.

Just lovely.
I enjoy reading your fic because you use words to paint such a vivid portrait that I really can see everything clearly in my mind as I read.

I might just do that. I think it's time the ladies had a break and a little booze cruise.

I love the first sentence. Its mood sets the stage very nicely for what follows. 'Autumnal beauty' is a gorgeous way to describe something. (And I like the rest of the story, too.)
